Welcome to the AdmissionsAdvice.com community. I'm glad you can join us and hope you will find this an enjoyable place to share and learn about colleges and college admissions. Please take a moment to read the instructions for how to participate by clicking on the "help" icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
Our rules are simple:
1. Treat others as you would like to be treated. All members are equal here, and I expect them to treat each other with respect. That means no subtle digs or personal attacks of any sort. It is fine to have different opinions, but if you disagree do so in a manner that takes the other person's feelings into account more than your own.
2. No profanity, obscenities, links to offending sites, spam or commercial postings. Anyone who does any of these will immediately be prohibited from further participation.
3. This is community is about college, college admissions, and college-related topics. Please do not discuss politics, religion, sex, money or any other topics. There are other forums better suited to those discussions.
4. If you are a college admissions officer or a person offering college admissions advising services for a fee you must get approval from the community owner before posting here. Reporters and other members of the media must also get approval before posting interview requests.
We'll follow a "three strikes" rule for everything except violations of number two. That means if I feel you have violated any of the above, I will send you a polite warning. If you violate the rules again, my warning will alert you to the fact that one more strike against you and you will not be allowed to continue as a community member. On your third strike, you will be permanently removed from the community. There will be no "second chances" after that, and all decisions made by Carolyn, or her support team, will be final.
Any changes or additions to these rules will be posted in this AdmissionsAdvice.com Rules forum so please keep an eye out and read any new messages here.
