UNCG- We were there last Saturday and my mother had called in advance and set up a tour. Well, we were told there were no tours on the weekends, and everything was locked, including the student center. The only thing open was the library. Walking around on a gorgeous 80 degree day it was sad to see that no one was out. The campus was deserted. We talked to a sophmore ( my aunt knows his mother) and he said campus shuts down on weekends, and they do not provide any activites. We were not clear if this was just because they had done it in the past, or they had never done it. The feeling I got was that it was a huge commuter campus (albiet a very beautiful one). It was not the right fit for me at all, and I will not be applying.
