I've been trying desperately to get into that category to post a question and for some reason it simply won't load for me ... I am having no problem with any other category or thread, just that one ... and of course THAT is the one where I am anxiously seeking advice/info ... it's been two days with no luck.
Just me?

No problem for me. I just clicked on it, and pretended that I wanted to open a new thread, and all seemed fine.

The board is loading a little slowly this weekend, so that might be part of the problem, but the Nuts & Bolts opened ok for me. If you still can't post there, feel free to post it in the College Green section, and I'll be happy to move it for you if you want. Sorry that you're having this difficulty!

Thanks so much ... I will do that ... it's weird, I can even click on whatever the current discussion is and read THAT thread but still can't get into the category itself. WEEEEEEEIRD.
Anyway, it's a question about recommendations and I think it's an unusual one but had hoped to check out the other threads to see if it had been addressed before posting it but ... guess Ill just forge ahead

I sometimes have that same problem. It isn't always the same topic. I can open anything else just fine but there is sometimes one that is stubborn.
I normally use AOL. I find that when I have that problem if I close AOL and go on straight through internet explorer the thread opens immediately.
