And I intentionally asked my daughter NOT to check the box so as to cut down on unwanted mail!  She wrote to about 30 odd colleges and it's been interesting to see the results.  Some have sent a boatload of mail; others nothing or next to it.

The school my D is ending up at is one that sent junk mail which she read and liked.  Sometimes, the junk mail actually works. ;)
