I wanted to share this info in case it would help anyone else. At my son's school the Senior's have a day where they can wear a t-shirt from the college they are going to attend.
I went on the Babson website and they only have sweatshirts. So I ordered one in the school colors (white/green) in the Varsity Collegiate font. It looks just like an official college t-shirt and was $23 (American Apparel T which my son likes but I think the Hanes is cheaper) with free shipping. Delivery is within a week.

College T-shirt day -- what a fun idea!
That reminds me of an idea I read somewhere, maybe here, that wearing the former high school t-shirt on freshman move-in day is a good conversation starter.

| Very neat. I played around with designing a t-shirt just now. I'm bookmarking that site - it might come in handy sometime. Thanks!

At my son's high school, seniors are allowed to wear the sweatshirt of the college they'll attend over their uniforms, but they can't wear tee shirts. Since most kids don't make up their minds until May, you see a lot of sweaty seniors round about them squeezing in those sweatshirts.

My son's school has a day where they post signs on pickets in front of the school with the name of the college they will be attending. I had great fun last year searching out the unusual colleges (i.e., not UT, A&M or Tech).

Oh my gosh, Firefly, I LOVE that idea. I'm going to have to steal it.

At my daughter's school, the week before Homecoming in October is "Spirit Week" and each year each day has a special theme. It changes from year to year but two out of her four years one of the days has been "college day" where they can wear T-shirts or other paraphernalia from either the college they want to go to or just a favorite school (it's all four grades, not just seniors).
Needless to say LOTS of Terps gear and Duke is always a favorite as well.
D wore her gray "Berklee Football, undefeated since 1945" t-shirt. I LOVE that tee. If she gets in, I am definitely buying one for myself (I bought another really cool Berklee T when we went up for her interview/audition but I won't wear it unless she gets in ... afraid of jinxing it).
She has two Ts, two sweatshirts, shorts and a lanyard keychain. If she doesn't get in she may have nothing to wear.

carolyn, that's so funny about the sweaty seniors! I can relate. My D bought only one T shirt with all the college visiting we did. She absolutely fell in love with a tshirt she found in the Des Moines airport. She giggles everytime she puts it on. She wanted to buy a Grinnell Tshirt when we visited, but felt it would be bad luck (worried about getting in). She wasn't averse to an Iowa Tshirt though. Hers says,
"Iowa....Field of Opportunity" .
For some reason she just thinks it's hilarious. She said there isn't anything IN Iowa that we saw EXCEPT corn fields. She likes how they realize it and are proud of it. And, she had never been to the midwest. Coming from SoCal it was a bit of a culture shock, to say the least.
She has talked about making sure to get a sweatshirt and Tshirt when she finds out which college she'll be going to. At her high school all the seniors wear their college shirts in May and June and she doesn't want to be left out. They have one "senior ditch day" which isn't really a ditch day. All the seniors come to school in their college shirts and sit around with beach chairs, umbrellas, make big signs, play card games, with picnics, etc. It is an all day long party for them. The school makes them go to first period to take roll, but then they are free to hang out all day. The underclassmen have to go to class and weave all around the lounging seniors. It is very cute.
