Homeschooling parent of 3, based in the western United States, but spend a significant part of the year traveling.
As principal, teacher and guidance counselor rolled into one, have started the college search process informally in my eldest's freshman year. She is now a sophomore and has become very interested and involved in researching colleges.

Hello. Welcome to the site.
Well, homeschooling sounds fascinating. I am an international propspective student from Nepal, so this is something new yet intriguing to me. Good to know that you and your daughter have started researching colleges quite earlier. The more you plan and give time, the more likely you'll get the benefit. After all, output never exceeds input (plz forget the machines stuffs....haha)

Canadian and Alumother, Thanks for the welcome.
I am looking forward to feedback and am currently enjoying perusing the many previous conversations. I have already enjoyed your sense of humor, Alumother, as it pertains to your and yours son's differing styles. I can relate because I have a thirteen year-old who is very different from his older sister in learning style and motivation ; )
