Annnnnnddddd....the safety wins...go figure...I just have to drive 10 minutes at lunch and drop off the deposit...I gave her every possible second I could in case she wanted to change her mind! I do see her wince everytime she sees the Mannes acceptance folder on the table, lol!

Vocca, congratulations on your D's difficult decisions. She had such great options. You must be relieved that's done now.
Congratulations also to Mathmom's S and Newberry's S. There were so many listed yesterday I missed yours at first.
Where are the rest of the decisions? We know they had to decide by May 1st. (Maybe the parents who posted earlier are recuperating from the ordeal or still pulling off duct tape)

Congrats mathson!!! Carniegie Mellon is fantastic for comp sci. Known especially for the best UI people around.
And Vocca. Indeed. Go Tigers! Next you will have to let us know which residential college she draws into, and whether she goes on Outdoor Action, and does she take the writing seminar in fall or spring.

Sent a deposit to Ursinus College (decided against Emmanuel since D missed out on a 15k merit scholarship because of the high school transcript mailing snafu and they were unhelpful), but D would much rather get off the waitlist at St. Olaf. Maybe she can take Rhumbob's or binx's D's space? ;-)

Carolyn-you should see if you can find a gif of a roll of duct tape to add to your emoticons--I know I would have used it this year in my posts 
I am so impressed by the list of schools in RED. My D and I have grown closer through this journey which has made this journey even more fun.
Now off to the next venture...celebrating her 18th birthday and GRADUATION!
