Wow, that's just wonderful, Carolyn! It's so nice to hear about these kids who bootstrap themselves into a better life. What a treat for you to have been able to help him on his way. Well done, to both you and him.

Now MIT has come thru for my son. I want him to choose Caltech, so I was sort of hoping for a deferral. Congrats to all the other EA/ED acceptances. It is a great feeling to know they have a place!
