| Congrats to all the seniors and their parents! This list is amazing--and it's not even Nov. 15th yet! I hope that these acceptances mean that you all have a less-stressful holiday season!

Congrats to all! Hard to believe that we're at that point where the proud parents of the Class of '08 are making OUR list!
I am enjoying all of the excitement vicariously as it will be awhile (if at all) that we'll get to add our name ... (crossing fingers and toes).

| HandS, we didn't have anything to add to this list at this time last year. In fact, it was January before I put down the first acceptance (that was so wonderful!). S was very focuesed on his ED app and didn't get in the rolling app I was pushing for until Dec. 1. Argh. But it all turned out great--so try not to worry (too much)!

I know ... D has only applied to ONE school so far. EA, with Jan. 31 notification date. Heavy first choice. She has her interview/audition in two weeks and will do her "other" apps after that, but at this point only has 2 or 3 other schools on her list and applying to all three RD.
Gonna be a LONG two months.

If you had told me a few months back that S would have 3 colleges on his list before Thanksgiving, I would not have believed you.
He really does not have an absolutely clear first choice school, and will still apply to other schools.....but he would honestly be thrilled to attend any of the 3 that he already was accepted to. It has REALLY taken the pressure off this entire process.
Once again...congrats to all and good luck to those who are still waiting to hear!

In that case, I recommend WINE.
All of you will get through this. And it helps to keep repeating, "It's *her* college admissions process, it's *her* college admissions process . . ." (glass of wine in hand, of course).

Although so far I've only got the wine part down.

2006 Montes Sauvignon Blanc from Leyda Valley, Chile. That's what I am drinking right now. Very fruity, very pleasing. Highly recommended!
