If you or your student has not heard from a school, you might consider calling. For us, it was successful. My son applied to a college that I thought would award him a merit scholarship. We had not heard. I called the financial aid office and they transferred me to the secretary in charge of scholarships. She was able to investigate and saw that my son had not yet been evaluated for a scholarship. The secretary was kind enough to offer to put my son's application "to the top of the pile". One week later my son received a letter notifying him about his merit scholarship.
Thank you. For us, it was definitely worth the call! Just_me, I was trying to figure out if I would recognize you from another board, so I looked under introductions, but could not find you there. Thank you, though.
