My D has the opportunity to apply for the Evans Scholarship. In case no one knows what it is, it's a scholarship for golf caddies. http://www.evansscholarsfoundation.com/ The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship, renewable for up to four years. Most Evans Scholars also live in a campus Scholarship House with other Evans Scholars attending that university.
It's a great opportunity and a very generous scholarship. Does anyone have any knowledge of this scholarship or know any students who are Evans Scholars? My concerns are that Evans Scholars must live in the Evans House. I'm concerned how this would effect her college experience since there are only 20 scholars per class in the house and the majority would be male.
